Biography

Barbara Collins is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in developmental pediatrics. She achieved her advanced nursing degree from The Sage Colleges, Troy, New York, and her graduate degree in educational psychology from The College of Saint Rose, Albany, New York. Barbara has worked closely with families and children with special needs and integrates that experience into primary care. She has established expertise in autism spectrum disorders and has a strong interest in promoting health and wellness across the lifespan.

During her undergraduate program at SUNY Brockport, Barbara grew to love the sciences and combined that with her desire to work with others, solidifying her decision to pursue a career in medicine. She has a particular interest in pediatrics, specifically early childhood. Barbara is trained to address developmental and behavioral, as well as parenting needs.

Barbara loves music, the outdoors, and being a Nana.
