Biography

Originally from Brooklyn, Dr. Constance Glasgow has practiced general pediatrics in Clifton Park since 1967. After earning her Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Glasgow completed her residency at the Albert Einstein Bronx Municipal Hospital Center in New York.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Glasgow is an attending physician at the Ellis-Bellevue Hospital complex in Schenectady. She served as Chief of Newborn Services at Bellevue from 1986 to 2003. Dr. Glasgow is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the American Women’s Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and the Schenectady County Medical Society. She is also a member of the Ethics Committee at Ellis Hospital and on the board of trustees of Schuyler Ridge at Seton Health.

Dr. Glasgow is a very involved member of our community. She is a member of the Albany District Links, a community service organization whose latest project involved raising $25,000 to build a home for Habitat for Humanity in Albany. She is also a member of the Shenendehowa Methodist Church and of the Women’s Auxillary – Veterans Foreign Wars.

When she isn’t busy seeing patients, Dr. Glasgow spends time with their two adult children. She also enjoys reading and traveling.
